Arrow ****Quick questoin on engine removal****

This is a 2g gst fwd. Are you able to pull out the engine without the tranny? I just need the engine trying to leave the tranny in the shell. Or do you have to pull everything out at the same time? Just need to know. thanks guys

You have to pull the transmission out as well.

I Had a 1G AWD And I pulled the engine alone. It was also automatic. So im pretty sure its the same on a 2G.

1g's are much easier with pulling one or the other.

2g's on the other hand are a pain in the dick. they will both need to come out at the same time to make life easy.

haha yeah very true. thats why im going to a 1g. 2g's are a pain in the ass sometimes. 1g's have alot more space in the engine bay. I just thought maybe you could pull it out without the tranny.

i was able to pull my engine out without the tranny, but as said before, it is easier to pull both the the main reason is the re-install, it is a bitch trying to get it lined up unless you have tiny hands.
