Ok so here is what happen I was driving the Talon (98 Talon DOHC 2.0 420A motor, 5 speed)down the road like normal then it just shut off and wouldn't start again. I got it back to the house and thought it was the fuel pump, once I got in there and listened really good you could hear it kick on when you turn the key, also made sure it was getting to the injectors and it is. so I checked for spark and it is getting spark but its not starting up and running it just keeps turning over.....I don't know what else to do, I need Ideas or suggestions I know its a shity car but thats all I got for now, Please post if you have any help at all thank you.

 

You need to do a compression test and post up results unless you know what a good test result is. If its getting fuel and has spark then that's my opinion. Do a comp. test.

 

yea ill put them up, Iam going to do a compression test on it tomorrow then ill put up the results

 

O shit I completely forgot to add what it was doing before it shitted out, ok the car was sitting for a year I picked it up with a trailer and got it started when I got home it would turn over but not start then after a bit it started but has never started on the first try and some days wouldn't start at all, I just forgot to add that in there its a pretty big deal to forget.

ok went outside today dident relies it was only going to be a high of 4 degrees today so I dident get it done way to cold it -1 with the wind chill, but I got the old gas out, changed the filter as well I just want to try the compresion test then go from there because its got fuel,spark,and air......I just dont know way its not starting.
