hey my 99 gst is giving me idle trouble when its warm fells like it wants to turn off and sometimes it does

it there any way to test the idle air control valve

or any other problems it can be

Other possible issue could be the throttle position sensor, do you have an engine check light on?

no engine check light i just replaced the water pump and timing belt ran good for 1 week then yesterday starts this wtf

Check timing again just to make sure, then check the position of the tps with a volt meter if you know how to do that, then I would try replacing the IACV. I'm not sure if there is a way to test them. I have had one in the past give me a problem, but it was dirty, maybe try taking it off and cleaning it up w carb cleaner. Post updates

Also, could be your Idler pulley's bearings are about to go.

just cleaned throttle body still doing it


one of my sparkplug wires is swollen but it still sparks idk if that will be it

and now i am going to replace the iacv
