The fwd diff from 90-92 is same diff that is in AWD cars from 90-99. There are five lsd diffs that I am aware of.
1 phantom at 150-200 new, dont bother with them. they dont do much for wheel spin and they increase chances of diff exploding.
2 factory lsd. torsen type. USA didnt get a car with this but other countries did. they pop up on e-bay maybe once every two years. work great for the price 300-450 used.
3 evo 1-3 factory lsd. clutch type that doesnt share oil with trans. doesnt fit fwd cars because the ring gear is different. you can make an evo 1-3 work as fwd.
4 kazz clutch type at about 900 new and 300 used. work very well but takes a special fluid in tranny to keep the clutches from chattering. most will not have been broken in correctly and will chatter anyway. the axles will sound like the CV joints are bad on short slow speed turns.
5 quaife torsen type. grea diff. no downfalls except price. 1200 new 800 used.
