Default DSM Datalogging assistance.

[RESOLVED] SO I have been looking into data logging tools for my 92. I currently have a CEL and want to know what it is. I think my rough idle is related to it. So i was looking at the pocket logger but I have to wait for it to be shipped. I have the tactrix cable (openport 1.0) that I used to tune my Subaru's. Downside is it is OBDII only. The upside is it has USB to OBDII. My laptop is only USB no serial connections. The pocketlogger is serial. Does anyone have any options for me to be able to datalog what is going on with my car? I know i can go to autozone to have the CEL looked at. But I would like to tool around the neighborhood and pull some baseline logs and see whats going on inside my little holy grail of a motor.

thanks for you input.
