beginning of my "paint job" 2 coats of rustoleum on top of primer, no sanding yet. Ive put on about 3 more since then and sanding...just waiting for a nice dry day to finish it up..

what are you using to paint it? you have a compressor with a gun?

Heh..those skirts are a little ricey but actually look decent on that car IMO..wingless helps i think.



Seeing that pic makes me want to hunt down some talon skirts and put my 2ga rear bumper back on.

About the paint though...if you have access to a gun and a compressor, then you might as well get some real paint. All you would need for the roof is about a quart Id think. And a shitload of newspaper and masking tape lol..doing a decent job is cake, you just have to be very careful and patient. Its all in the prep work. Now doing a perfect job, Im sure thats a whole nother ball game.

I chose to use a brush because last time I sprayed some parts in the 'rents garage I ended up painting everything in there red haha.

 

ya. everyone seems to like my skirts. so maybe i'll put the up for trade for stock. but i already have a black bumper, i don't want differant colors skirts to lol. so whenever i do a full paint i'll put them on, when i find them. and ya, i love that dudes gsx. i always liked my 2ga rear but the 2gb front looks better hands down IMO. but never would have thought of using swirls on the sides. but either way, whether i get the swirls or stocks like your, i wanna go stock full out. but keep it wingless it's really growing on me
