2g Not Cranking!!!
So my 2g was starting, running fine. I changed the trans fluid, removed all the speakers, looped the egr lines, and removed cut wires in the stereo area. I turn the key to on, everything seems fine. But when I take the e-brake off, the brake light stays on, just dim. There is no click from the starter, and I checked the starter wire (black w/yellow stripe). I also attempted to start the car via jumper cables, nogo and popping the clutch, nogo.
Anyone have any ideas??

To test the starter you can take a wire and run it from a 12v source (battery) and touch it to the terminal on the starter solenoid. The starter should turn if it has power/ground. If that works then your starter circuit is probably open/shorted.
2g starter circuit parts blow ass. I used to have intermittent no-crank problems, replaced the wiring, starter switch, etc. Got tired of it breaking so I just hooked it up to a push start button...

I figured it out on my lunch break... The douche that owned the car before me seriously destroyed the wiring. In the center console there are two relays that are bolted down to the floor in front of the ecu. The one on the left is the door lock 1 relay and the one on the right is one of 2 starter relays. Well the door lock one was moved to the right where the starter relay was and unplugged the starter relay completely, no sign of it anywhere. They jumped the plug with a piece of wire to bypass it! So I removed the wire on Sunday thinking that is was for the none working power locks. Replaced the wire in the plug (bottom vertical slots) and it started right up with no issues. I'll pick one up this weekend at the junkyard.
