Default Replacing a 420a (99 nt eclipse) alternator...

Hey tr. Well my girls car just shreded the alternator belt. I would like to know exactly wat caused it? could it just be the tensioner? i dont think her car has the tensioner. i was told that they just put a bolt and tightened it really tight by a shop. Well i will have a new belt and alternator tomorrow and i was wondering if anyone could do like a super quick write up on replacing it. I cant see to get any clearance but tomorrow i will be trying to get to it from under the car.

Any help is appreciated. and if anyone has a alternator tensioner please text me 813-220-3061

thanx
chris
