Default FP 68hta turbo

Trying to find some information on this turbo. Does this turbo flow more then a 20g? I have been reading a lot of info and getting mixed thoughts. Would anybody know the power that this turbo puts out compared to the evo3 and 20g turbos?

*this is the info i gathered so far, but since turbo is fairly new i cant find any real put out numbers on this turbo yet

EVO III Big 16g = 42lb/min
20g = 44lb/min ?
FP68hta - 47lb/min
FP Green- 49lb/min ?

Your flow ratings look accurate. A 47lb/min turbo should be good for 400-440whp maxed out depending upon your supporting modifications. On pump gas it should be in the neighborhood of 320-360whp again depending on supporting mods and boost level.

^interesting, sounds like a 20g power turbo with a little better spool . now i have to decide if 400 more dollars is worth it for a fp green but then again fp red is $50 more but might be a little to big for street use with spool . thanks

The 20g Is A Good Turbo But For The Price If You But 200-300 More To The 20g You Could Get A Gt35r....

Gt35R is too big for my set-up/goal. I want a street car thats fun to drive and Great Spool! and still with the great Torque @ hp. Thats why i want to stay around the 50trim size with a great tune and kelford cams and the car will run like a street champ!

A 35r is a snooze fest on a 2.0 street car.

Alot of the Subaru Guys are using the 68HTA and think its a great turbo. Quick spool and great top end. 68HTA seems to be the best bang for the buck.

I bet! your right on that, its better then the evoIII 16g from what i heard. But Im still looking for a little more UMPH!!! Like a Green. i dont think FP makes the HTA fp green anymore but i can always settle for a Original Green. But i guess i can always call FP and ask them to build a HTA fp green for a dsm.
