Default not building boost

I usually run 20 pounds of boost out of the 14b on the 92 Talon with no problems. I just changed out the timing belt and water pump and stiffened up the motor mounts and took it out and it will now only build up 10 pounds of boost. I have a manual boost controler and I have adjusted it but still can only build up 10 pounds. I have checked for exhaust leaks but none are to be found. All my timing marks are to spec. Any ideas?

boost leak would throw off the idle slightly...u wud...or shud feel the difference..

If u go to str8 to 10 psi with barely any effort= boostleak

If the boost is building normal and doesnt go past 10= a line is more than likely not connected...

or idk if u took your whole setup apart to do timing belt but maybe the turbo wasnt bolted back on completly...check for loose turbo to mani bolts

LOL, I have NEVERRRR had to take the turbo off to do a timing job...scratch that off the checklist cuz that isn't the issue.. If anything check timing, if its off even the slightest bit, it will throw everything off including boost pressure...def check timing...not just with a light, look at tdc versus cam timing marks. I bet that's the case, and if not, def a vac or boostleak..
