Default DSM Question

Im planing to build another dsm and wondering on your opinions. I wanna do a 1g port and polished head, 95 pistons with 90 rods, and a evo III 16g turbo for starters. Give me some insight and your thoughts.
-Thanks!!

agreed

if you plan on just doing a 1g rod 2g piston combo i would use a stock 1g head.

arp hardware(head studs, main studs, rod bolts) a nice HG and a decent size turbo to support 450-500hp

Wouldn't try going above 500hp on stock internal, but def a good setup so far. +1 on the no to porting a 1G head

if you really want to port a head, the 2g head can be ported a lot more aggressively than a 1g head. But Stock:Stock the 1g head is fine for 500whp and flows better than the 2g head.

What are you going to do for tuning? If you plan to stick with AFC, I wouldn't go bigger than a 16g. A 20g can be done and has with great results, but you really wont be taking advantage of a bigger turbo without a way adjust/control your timing.

Save for the ECMLink
