Hey everyone. I have a 99 eclipse gs. I believe it is a 420a engine. I got the vehicle stock and have wanted to put a turbo on for about a year. I have looked many places and they can help me. It does not have a turbo on it right now, i have but a full header back exhaust on it and a cold air intake on it, i know that the intake and the header will need to be removed and replaced when i install the turbo but it is worth it. I am wondering if any one has any advise for what type of turbo kit i will need, or if you know where i can get the hole kit, or have one to sell. I live in upstate NY and no one is into sport tuners, i have the space, time, money and know-how to install the turbo, and i have use of a dyno after it is installed. It would be great if any one can help, I am sick of everyone up here telling my to get a truck and make it turbo, i would love to show them up on a real car........

 

Piece your own kit together. It will be cheaper.

 

just do all the research you can on the 420a but make sure it's the eclipse one and not the neon one because i believe they have some different specs

 

Yes. The Neon is a sohc head. Just whenever you search to put Eclipse in your searches also.

i'm a little lost, sohc does mean single overhead cam and the neon came sohc and dohc so i don't know why you're saying he's wrong
but that means strike #2 for you mister honda man
