So yesterday i decided to install a non cruise cable. I noticed today now that at lights it occasionally bounces from 1k to 1500k its not at every light sometimes itle idle fine. what could be the problem is the cable catching on something? Or did I possibly disconnect somthing by accident? Geez how does someone mess up something so simple lol. any clues would help thanks.

 

If there is too much tension on the throttle cable it will tend to keep the throttle body open slightly, this in turn would cause the idle lope. Loosen the cable and see if that helps.
