thanks for the pics but could you take a further back pic. im trying to figure out is that a hose on top the coupler for a boost source, cuz i also see one on the wastegate. I do see how your J pipe is in the way. You would probably have to switch that out for a metal one and is the j pipe pointing straight down or does it lean to the pass side for a side mount.

edit: is that a coolant line? on the top there with the little hose clamp? if so Thats where your problem is. It should be routed behind the turbo near the block.

That is a coolant line from the turbo to the head that sits on top of the intake. And the J-pipe is a regular curved one that I have a stock rubber intercooler hose going to it, which leads straight down to the FMIC hard piping. But I did end up fiitting the intake on barely and everything is tight all around. But it was so tight that when i went to put the vaccum hose on the wastgate the little 1 inch needle on the wastegate Broke off. So now when i drive it The boost pressure is to its MAX and not 15psi where it was. Since theres no vaccum hose going from the jpipe to wastegate.so im assuming im going to need a new wastgate??? If that makes sense. I will get some more further pics away from the car and show you guys how everything is routed.

Gotcha your coolant lines is whats messing everything up. both upper and lower lines should be routed closed the the block/engine you should be able to bend them to get a nice fit around the compressor cover. Im not sure how much you bent them already cuz they look kinda jacked. but if i was you take the turbo off. install reinstall the lines behind and that would give you more space as for the rubber line just go to autozone and get new hoses to extend the hose. i see the top hose comes out from the front and interferes.

K Thanks, But what about the wastegate? what will happen if i throw WOT with no hose going to the wastegate. Will it spike so much then hold what it can hold or will it just str8 blow the turbo?

the wastegate should still open at wastegate pressure what ever that might be. so no it wont blow. im almost 99% sure of that.

edit:on extreme psi i think they come with a 15lb spring

IT doesnt read 15PSI. it just keeps rising past 20psi idk exactly what psi it will go up too but ive seen 25psi once before i let off . i didnt want to screw anything up so i let off. so im assuming a new wastegate. i will try extremepsi, or forced performance thanks

Yeah.. you need a new wastegate, or some way to retrieve the broken-off barb from inside your current one, then tap and thread it for a new barb, install, and enjoy. Of course.. this would have to be done with the wastegate off the turbo.

If your WG isn't reading boost from the compressor housing, intake manifold, or some other source, it's just going to keep boosting and never open. That's how the system works, once it reads enough pressure from your system to overcome the resistance in the WG, it opens. No boost signal, nothing to overcome the spring resistance, no WG dump.

You'll be ok driving it around just be very careful and DONT boost it. Drive like a grandma.
