do the seats have red stitching? If not, its not a SE or seats have been changed.

lol yeah the seats move back, and they do have red stiching.

I read on the evo wiki that the SE model came with the lighterweight enkei rims, and the mr came with the diamond black bbs rims. I dunno. either way im happy with it.

all the Evo in the US that are SE will have the BBS and the front lip. If you go to a Mitsu dealer they can run ur vin# and let you know if its a real SE and you have to have HID. If the front of your car looks like this then its a SE

i guess its a gsr then.

so what kind of blow off valve can i run that will vent or be pretty loud with just a stock intake, and no drivability issues?? im letting a little bit of inner ricer in me out for the moment...

If you use a VTA BOV you will most likely get a check engine light for TPS out of range. This is bc the air is already metered and calculated to be recirculated. Plus the car will go pig rich everytime you shift.
