I've been having very strange fuel consumption and power problems on my car and have gone through hell trying to fix it.. I've done literally EVERYTHING you can imagine. So I took it to Drew @ Darkside yesterday (great guy btw, highly recommended), he did a compression test and came back with great numbers so no bad HG. No CEL's either. The car has 60k on it too.

So judging from the symptoms and the condition of the ceramic portion of the plugs (which got very hot and rusty looking in only 1500 miles), Drew is convinced it's an exhaust obstruction. More than likely my cat. I have a 3" exhaust I was waiting to put on til I went turbo, but I need to just do it now. I DON'T have a cat, and when my downpipe gets here, it has a 3" gutted cat (essentially a test pipe) attached already.

So does anyone have a 2g cat thats in usable condition? I'll throw you a few bucks for it. I think the turbo and NT cats are the same but mine's a 420a car if that helps.
