Well, last night my dad took the good Ol' eclipse out ot keep it running and to charge the battery up.

When he got back, the car wont boost anymore, just makes a loud whisleing noice why you drive.... please tell me my turbo is not blowned...

I havnt pulled it apart yet, i thought i would ask first before i rip the car apart. The turbo had 0 shaft play 6 months ago, since then we have only put about 1000 miles on it. all lines and feeds are good, nothing is cracked from what i can see.

Any help would be nice, jsut drop me a pm. thanks

(edit) its the factory TD05 on 14lbs with a boost controler. Thanks

Check for boost leaks, also check that the turbo is getting oil. Check and make sure an oil feed line isnt clogged or leaking.

Iv already planned on drained the oil out of the car. had just a base 10w30 non sntec when we put the new head and rings in. i plan on cleaning the lines too, also the only clamp i cant see is the one on the smic underneath, ill check that when i get it in the air.

ok well oil is changed, i pulled the oil lines off and cleaned them, no metal or anything bad came out.

No boost leaks found, double checked and tightened all my clamps. im sitting on the fact that i need a turbo

Anyone have a TD05 turbo laying around they dont want or something a lil better? i dont have much money to spend but im willing to work a deal, i want to stay on 14-16lbs
