Default CEL - P0100 - Volume Air Circuit Malfunction

Ok, not too much of a n00b here but I can't figure this out. I'll try to provide as much information as possible. Need any other stuff just ask, I should know.

1995 Car, 1990 6-bolt motor, 1995 2G head

Just got the car running on the newly built motor so this problem is kind of a big problem for me. Got a Check Engine Light obviously. Through DSMlink I see P0100 Volume Air Circuit. This is causing to car to run VERY rich, stutter, pop, and buck. Obviously this can't be happening with a brand new motor because I don't want to wash the rings out.

Checked TPS....its fine.
Checked for vacuum leaks...none.
Replaced the 2G MAS...same thing.

Some information that may help:
-Motor has maybe 3 miles on it so far
-Running DSMlink (as stated above)
-Sheet Metal Intake Manifold so there is no MDP Sensor on the car
-Have DSMlink set for the PLX to read off the MDP signal
-Car idles at first mid 14s and then goes from 10.5s to RICH on my PLX-M300.
-FIC 650s/walboro255/Fuel Pressure Regulator/stock fuel rail and lines/no rewire.

DSMlink settings:
-I believe its called the "global" and that is at 180 and all other settings are at 0 right now.

Going to make a boost leak tester some time this week and try that out but that would have to be one heck of a boost leak huh?

Thoughts? Ideas?

kevins was having a problem. don't know exactly what it was doing but it was because his gm maf was bad so if you have a gm maf then that could be the problem.

i don't think he's running a gm maf. He stated above that he replaced his 2g mas. I don't think he would be running both. I could be that if the 2nd 2g mas was used, it also could be bad. Replace the 2g mas off a running eclipse to see if you still have that problem.

Test the maf wire for continuity between the maf and ecu.

Thanks for the replies guys, pretty sad there are more here then DSMtalk and DSMtuners...

Yea I tried another MAS (no don't have a GM setup) and I need to try another. Checking wire continuity needs to be checked as well.
