My 1996 eagle talon sunroof bracket is broken, I found a cheap 1996 ECLIPSE sunroof, the entire thing. Brackets, engine, and glass.

Back to my question, Will it bolt up with no issues?

If it doesn't Whoopty do im out a tiny bit of cash. If so, I can sell it on here for the same amount if not more. Its that cheap.

 

eclipses/talons are the same thing. their parts can be used on either

Will do. Do you know how to rip the engine out of mine so i can put the new one in? Ive already removed the glass, the brackets, But i can't remove the brackets, Because the cables are still connected to the engine of the sunroof.

 

never done it that i can say but iv been a tech for 10 years i have yet to come across a part i cant remove in one peace! well figure it out! ill take a look at mine and hit you back!

 

Alright cool, Thanks. the engine to the sunroof is right by the button to move it back and fourth, I take out the 2 screws, and you can pop the plastic piece off. But then theres almost nothing i can do.

 

sorry it took me a few i have been busy!i just took mine of your problem is theres three screws holding the motor not two! i took them all out and gave it a shake and it fell right out! just take a better look at and you will see the third screw! thay make a triangle shape!

 

oh ya and you dont remove the cables to remove the the hole thing! just the four drain lines! then the 6 trox srew on the glass and then the 8 10mm nuts holding the frame. dont forget the one by the front windshield its kind of hiden!
