One of the cars I was thinking about getting was an Eclipse GSX...95 or 96 probably...pros & cons? What is like the average price also for one with about 70-80k miles...

I like 1gs better than 2gs. They are roomier cheaper and in my opinion better for performance. If you can get an early 92 you get the low compression big rod motor 4 bolt rear 14b turbo and big head/intake/throttle body. 90-91 is missing the 4 bolt rear. 92.5-94 has a low compression small rod motor BUT has big brakes.

2gs 95+ have a higher compression small rod motor with a crank that falls out small intake/head/throttle body and a small turbo. BUT they have the better exhaust manifold 4 bolt rear and they LOOK a lot better.

www.dsm.org will have all these answers and more. Check it out if youre serious. If not buy a 2g GS and put a blitz body kit and combat wing on it.
