So we were looking at ordering the new shit for the engine. Just wondering what everyone preferred or had a good experience/bad experience with.

First thing is rods. what brands do you guys prefer?

Other thing is rings?

And last... bearings?

Rods - Eagle, Crower, Pauter

Bearings - ACL, Clevite

All are good in my opinion

 

Eagle rods has my vote

 

How about, get ready to spend allot of money O, and eagle h-beam rods and wiseco or Ross pistons, 8.5 compression depending on what turbo for your application. and good luck

 

Well the car and year wouldnt help you. its 6 bolt 4g63 90 to be specific...

 

i perfer carrillo or pauter or groden rods for bearings i use clevite spec to the right clearance and je or wiesco for pistons
