i was thinking about swapping my entire power and drive train into a convertible. do you guys think it would be worth it? you get the best of both worlds. i know it's been done before. i just don't know if it's more complicated than a typical awd swap.

 

Im not a big convertible fan. I personally wouldnt do it.

 

convertibles were intvented to pick up girls lol. i'll have the power and control of my awd and a car that almost all girls will love lol

The Eclipse is already a girl's car. They'll like it either way. I get ragged on all the time for driving a "girls" car by my friends. But they do like them. Lol I took one girl over 100 once and she was like "OMG YOUR CARS SO FAST!"

 

If its a spyder gst it can be done and has been done locally.The floorpan is the same as a gsx which makes it possible.

 

i say do it. thats gonna be my next project if i ever get enough money to do it..but its gonna be a topless 2g talon awd.

 

all the girls i know love my car but they're scared of it because the bov lol. they're like why does it whistle? is it broken?

 

i think i'm definitely gonna do it. i just have to wait till after i graduate and then get boot camp out of the way. she's my long term project
