Default Cordia Update...

Man I just seem to get all the bad luck... Every bolt I pull off strips on its way back in. I took off my turbo so I could get to the oil dipstick tube, fixed the tube, and while putting the turbo on I stripped the threads on the head for my oil feed line. So I went and got a heilocoil. I installed it, then while tightening the bolt, I stripped the threads on the bolt. UUUGGGHH. So now I have to get a AN fitting and I will just take the helicoil out and tap the hole so I can thread the fitting into the head. And I cant seem to figure out what the tapping/knocking is. It is rediculously loud while driving, but it is only at 1/4 throttle. Any more throttle and it stops. It is really bad, sounds like a friggin rod broke and is rattling around in there. I am gonna pull the oil pan just to play it safe. WOO HOO FOR DSMS......

Also does anyone know the link to instructions on how I can bypass my 02 sensor. My harness is cut, and My car is running rich as shit because of it.

^rich under boost usually means boost leaks.

did you ever clean out the lifters? and get rid of the gear oil you were running in the motor? lol

as for the o2, just rewire it. the car is always going to run rich without it..i know you said the wire is sheilded, but i doubt it matters that much...any one care to comment?

and you changed your number on me fool ! i need to use that boost leak tester, hit me up!

I did not have any luck rewiring my 02 sensor, I'm going to need to go to the junk yard and pull a plug off a harness and rewire it. either way my car still runs great without the o2 sensor, 27+ mpg and I get about 370-400 miles per tank.

what does internal ground mean exactly? i cant really find much searching.. i thought it referred to one of the grounds going to the pin on the ECU which all the sensors are grounded to.

yeah, it didnt make that much of a difference on my car. when i unplug it, my wideband reads 14.0-14.2 at idle instead of 15 though.

If the sound is only under throttle its more than likely lifters.
