Default Thoughts on intercooler sprayer instead of FMIC?

By misting an intercooler's surface with the Water Sprayer and then venting CO2 on the intercooler's cooling fins, the intercooler is further chilled resulting in a cooler denser intake charge enhancing a vehicles performance for extended periods of time. Each Intercooler Water Sprayer Kit comes complete with reservoir, mounting hardware, flexible hose lines, wiring, push button activation switch, nozzle tubes, connectors and installation instructions.
Part no: 080140 CryO2 Intercooler Water Sprayer
Details
SKU DEI-080140
Retail price: $ 93.33

Our price: $ 90.00

I'm looking for an alternative method to kill heatsoak and not add to much weight.Ive experienced spray on dsm's and a Nsrt-4 and the instant torque in insane but dont want to be refilling a bottle and am happy with my setup.I think this is a great alternative for sidemount guys and give me similar cooler intake temps and less tuning headache(still on stock timing/tune).Thoughts?

Might as well get meth injection then...
I think spraying water on your sidemount intercooler is a waist of time.
A FMIC would be a much wiser investment imo.

meth injection or FMIC.
Otherwise don't waste your money on this kit when you can easily modify your windshield wiper sprayer to spray your intercooler.

i've done this, cheapo bottles of alcohol from walgreens, hooked to a hose, to a water bottle nozzle. not a HUGE difference, but made daytime feel like night time driving (if that makes sense)
