he did have a 30r but the O2 hosuing was right on the alt. the heat was to much .... once he put a home made shield on the problem was fixed ...

ahh see u are good for something else besides talking shyt...thanks for that info...i told victor about the heat shield not being put back on nd he seemed mad...now i pmed him my address 4 towing purposes...hell be really mad after he sees that 96.01 miles to the shop

well most of who all know each other do talk shit to each dont be mad about that

and the 90 miles isnt anything with how bad it could hurt the shop in the long run

OK I forgot that this was a factory turbo car. YES, your boost source (whatever it may be) should have run from there, to the boost control solenoid, to the wastegate...HOWEVER, if you wanted to use a manual boost controller to raise the boost it should have gone boost source>boost controller> wastegate. The bov should have one line run off the intake manifold (because it must see both the boost and the vacuum to open and close) that is not connected to anything else. With this setup your bov will work, and your wastegate will work, and you will also be able to turn up your boost to an amount that you determine.

thats not exactly an issue

i think my setup is
sourced from the BOV to the profec, then from profec to the wastegate

the wastegate is pushed open with boost pressure, all a boost controller does is bleed the boost off
