The hardest part for me when i first changed out my HG was the timing. I had someone else come and do it for me. Everything is pretty straight forward just label stuff.

Compression will vary from motor to motor but I believe the service limit on a 4G63 is 150. Difficulty of changing the head gasket all depends on your skill level.

Headgasket is pretty much cake if you know what your doing. Timing on the other hand is a bitch. Atleast for me it is. I couldnt get it right to save my life. I had Drew at Darkside do my timing for me!!!
