when i was a junior in highschool 2001 i went to the races watching a 600 gsxr race a white lotus esprit(this guy was so cocky) then a 1g talon pulled up behind them maybe 10 feet behind them. after they went, the talon launched out of the hole like a bat out of hell, caught up with them and just passed them. On top of that he put atleast 3 cars on them. after that i developed a drooling problem... this was near gandy on the st.pete side.

 

well when i was 16 my friend jesse bought a 92 tsi it was ugly as hell and slow too but we thought it flew then he moved away he came back a year or so later with a different 92gsx this one was accualy decent it had bolt ons and a big 16g on 20psi after riding around in that i was hooked, now i after 4 awd trannies and a built motor i think i might be unhooked.

Well I had a 88 Civic a $3,500 LHT motors swap, then on top of that about another 2 grand in random upgrades. ALL of my friends drove eclipses and they where ALL still beating me.

 

3 years ago i was selling cars in queens ny and a silver 98 talon awd popped up..my friend told me it was teh same as an eclipse my honda was slow as hell. he said awd...did some research about upgrades..bought it a week later for 3500 with 79k texas car. been modding ever since..i also liked the fact that it was the last year of the talon and met alot of cool people here and in ny cuz of it.

 

because it made a fancy wooshing noise!

 

I had a friend in the Bronx that had a 91 GSX,in 93,I was about 15 at the time,and it was pretty fast for stock.I was totally into the Mustang thing at the time.
A few people I met down here had them,starting to mod them,and the AWD thing just grabbed me.Then, I bought a 91 Talon AWD in 99.I had that one,a 91 FWD,and now I have the 93 AWD,that (no big shock here) is still under construction.It kinda got put on hold indefinitly,because I felt the need to open a shop,and we all know that any "extra" money has to go to the shop,'till it's good and established.
Thus far,I have Crower super billet rods,280 cams,springs & retainers,2g head,6 bolt block and 4g64 crank,ACT 2900,Jerry's building my trans & t-case,Evo VIII sodium filled ex. valves,stainless intakes.
Like most things in life...all in due time.

 

I owned a motorcycle and was looking to trade for a car. A guy I worked with (18Yrs old) had a car sitting in his garage because he could drive it due to no insurance. It was a 95gs and beautiful. I told him that you don't need insurance on a motorcycle and we traded. The day I dropped my bike off to him and got on it and kept hitting the trottle with his hand. I told him to stop, that's alot of gas. This idiot gives it trottle and lets go of the clutch then freaks out and just grips everything. Not picture this, a bike (Katana) with the front tire locked and the rear peeling out because he just gripped everything on the handle bars heading straight for a ... you guess it TREE!! He hits the tree and gets thrown off. First this I do is run to the bike and pick it up, then went to see if he was ok. He had road rash from just below his wrist to his elbows. We push the bike back to his house and I tell him to go scrub the rocks and grass/stick from his wounds. He goes inside to shower and I pull out a licence plate out of my backpack and put it on the car, backed it out of his driveway and drove home.

Then the F&F came out. I already had my blitz kit picked out and my hauh turbo kit picked out. During a delievery to USF I seen a black Gst with a frontmount. I left him a note to call me and he turn me onto TR. I quickly found out that I was a ricer. Not only a ricer but a BAD ricer. I also found DSm tooners from which I quickly got blasted for my really bad questions and what not. I traded the GS for a GST and meet the Brother and Jerry. Later on I meet Miguel at a meet and the rest is history.

 

My first car was a saturn when I was in high school, I graduated 05 and with my graduation money wanted another car, the saturn was garabage even though I had rims and system in it, but it was so slow it was embarrasing to drive so I blew the engine to get another car sooner lol. My mom was with me when I was looking for cars and I was going to by a decent looking Dodge stealth but my mom pointed at this non turbo 1g gs and said she liked it better because of the paint and interior and it was a little cheaper, so I got a good deal on it and went with it, and I figured it was a sports car and in my price range... It was ok being I was 18 right out of HS, but I Didnt know shit about cars at the time, but after being around some turbo dsms I started hating the fact it was NT, so then after countless hrs of research, I ended up turboing it, blowing the motor, getting another 6bolt motor and etc etc and started modding and havin traction problems and said fuck it and bought a awd in early 07. And been going ever sicne... So I got into DSM by mistake.

 

You still won but my yellow ITR was all over that Talon Funny how people meet
