So Im guessing all the valves were trashed since you got a new head? Also, what was up with that head? It looks like the whole thermostat housing port is all blocked off? Or is that just the camera phone for you...

 

so just wondering but whats up with the cas being blocked off... is it okay to run it with it being blocked off... just wondering cause im trying to get my car done and the only thing wrong is that my cas is out and its 550 for a new one... if i can run with out it and put a blocking plate in it sounds cheaper...

 

I think I bent 4 valves in all. I ended up buying a new head since It was alot quicker than fixin the stock one. The thermostat housing isnt blocked off its just the way my phone made it look.

 

dude this happened to me on I4. i ended up rebuilding the motor. cuz with our motors when a timing belt snaps its more than likly that the piston hit the head and u can bend the valves like i did.
i replaced my pistons rods valves rockers cams and magnufluxing the head.

I got the car running Saturday night. Drew from Darkside came over and did the timing for me since I couldnt get it right to save my life(THANX DREW!!!!!). So far the car has be running great, I was gonna build a 6-Bolt but im not sure now I came across an Evo for an awesome price so I might pick that up and sell the Eclipse.

 

good stuff man, drew is a great guy! man i want an evo as well, everytime i see one the more i want one, theres been three at my work in the past week, lol
