Honestly were fucked, all we can do with cleaning up our mess is delaying the inevitable.

Sure the Earth goes thru its cycles, but that cycle will consist of wipeing us out . If you even take a look at pictures of the Polar ice caps from the 60s versus how they look now you can easily see how accelerated the damage we are causing has become just from the past 30-40 years.

We are also sucking the Earths usebale natural resources dry.
( Fossil fuels.) That will heavily affect everyone as this society is based off of it.
Maybe, hopefully, they will find a way to use renewable energy, or go Solar power on everything, or run cars off of salt water, but either way the point is , ppl are just trying to do what they can to make a better tommorow. Aside from the corruption that is.

Nate, In another 10-20 years from now I think you will have a different opinion if your still on this Earth. Todays issues are just the tip of the ice berg in my opinion.

Though I originally intended this thread for ppl to see a better tuning option versus shitty 93 octane, This is good convo though. More ppl should vent so the mitsu thread wont be so boreing. lol

Alpha is right, a lot of ppl wont be setup to run this stuff, some will probably even try and mess their engines up.

A lot of ppl probably have no intention on running this stuff,
but i look at it like the saying " Build it and they will come. "

I agree with Alpha. If you intend to make any real HP you will need to upgrade the fuel system. You also need to keep in mind that E85 can be as inconsistent as pump gas(especially in the winter). I would not push my tune to close to the edge on it. But it is definitely better than regular 93 pump water.

Thats a good point Tom.

They change the blend of e85 seasonally, and from winter to summer it could be e70, or even less.

As far as pushing the setup, one should also keep close monitor of AFRs and knock and timing advance at all times regardless.
A lot of ppl with dsmlink have the CEL come on when they run into knock, or like my car has, a knock buzzer, and ive even heard of knock lights, or some ppl even use their boost gauge to monitor knock... Just saying the harder the car is pushed the more you will want to stay on top of it regardless.

For the average person on the road, e85 doesnt seem to be much a benefit other than cleaner emissions for the enviroment.

For us, we are going to really be able to make a significant increase in HP.
Ive only heard its 105-106 octane, but Ethonol has much cooler burn like meth. Im hearing some pretty amazing stuff with what ppl are getting away with on this fuel !
