she didnt want random people coming to the house, thats why it was moved to a public park

 

Guys I just had the worst thing happen to me. The other morning my dog bit a jogger running by my house. Animal services came to my house yesterday and took my dog. They say he might be put down. I do not have any other info other than the fact that the next time the deputy works is sunday, and he needs to meet with me then. This whole process is freaking me out, he says I could be charged criminally, or sued by the victim. I am sorry to say that this is a huge priority and I will not be able to make it. So, slowy it looks like, based on your posts, you have the most interest in this, so you should take over and make sure everything goes as planned. Im sorry guys. PLease keep my dog in your prayers.

(assuming) your dog is unleashed
jogger runs by
dogs pursue's, bites jogger
is that what happened?

bad bite? what was the runners attitude?
im assuming since the police were called, that the runner wanted something on file.
if the jogger is cool, you should just pay his med costs.
if the jogger sues for bs, he should be shot.

It was a woman, in my front yard, no leash, stitches, bruises, but she was very nice. Talked to her today, no lawsuit and she is looking into how she can get the whole thing thrown out. Basically, when she went to the hospital, they told her they had to fill out a dog bite report, and she had no idea that filling it out would cause all this, she is also a dog owner and has sympathy and understanding towards the incident. But still nothing will be known until sunday. So cross your fingers.
