my battery keeps draining in my gsx and we've pulled every fuse (door switches and bulbs included) and power was still being pulled. after all the fuses were taken out and we put the test light to the batter, we could hear a clicking which i then found out to be the ignition switch actuator. when i pulled the ingnition switch actuator the test light went out. i got another that i'm gonna put in tomorrow but i don't think it's going to solve the problem. has anybody had this kind of problem?

 

Altenator, bad hot connections, bad ground , bad battery?

Or your saying something is pulling power from your battery while the cars off?

 

I had this same issue. A drain when it sat. Finally found the problem. When I put in the walbro 255 somehow the power wire to the pump inside the tank got pinched in between mounting plate and gas tank. I was also blowing relays for the rewire.

 

something's pulling power when the car is off. i replace the relay and started the car and let it sit for 2 days and the batter didn't drain. but i let it run for a couple minutes while i put my license plate back on and that altinator fuse caught fire but never popped so now my fuse box is half melted and so is the altinator wire on each end so i'm going to change the fuse and the wire and see what happens.

 

can't damon fix it?

 

it's kinda hard to have him fix it when it's at my house and tries to catch fire when it's running. his shop is about 20 min from my house
