from what I was told the awd conversion on a gs/rs is stupid hard to do and requires alot of work...I was thinking about this swap for my car (buying an evo5 front clip) but it was too much for my budget--thats why i went high compression n/a 2.4L

 

If you have the time and resources to make this happen go for it. Otherwise it seems like a big headache. The only thing that shys me away from this is the lack of documentation and $$$$$. Alot of the things needed to make this swap a reality are fuggin expensive! Good luck and shoot me a pm if you need help with it!

 

i was thinking of doing tha with a evo3 motor once. 2ndgendsm if you need a non acd transfer case hit me up i got one outta a evo with 30,000 miles

 

and make sure you use an evo tranny with an evo rear end (2g trans/2g rear 1g trans/1g rear etc...)...if you mix-n-match you could end up spinning the wheels at a different speed and screwin up the viscous coupler

not 100% sure about that so if you find anything that proves otherwise don't give me shit

 

this is not something that is going to happen overnight but ill make a new thread once this project goes underway...first is selling my evo and then next would be buying my 2gnt

 

I dont get it did something happen to the evo that you want to sell it. the army seems to be paying you too much you have too much money to blow.

 

I think i know someone that has a super clean freshly painted 2gnt that you may be able to scoop it up off of...

 

theres always something wrong with a modded car. and im kinda fed up with the fact that i pay 400+ dollars a month for a car payment when the car isnt running weather its for a day, a week or a month. i can just buy a clean 2gnt swap in the evo 4g63 motor in it and have a nice daily like a tl type s.im dont want my tuner car to be my everday car... by the way I'm a Marine, i'm not in the Army, lol

 

does that mean marines get paid more lol... why not just buy a honda and a vespa..as a commuter .j/k

 

thats funny but he doesnt want that 400 a mo payment.. Fernando you should have never bought that evo if you were gonna make it a high hp car.. you know what happens once in the 500's lol they dont stay running long period. i means cars period...
