Why would you want to do that? Mitsubishi makes terrible cars. Their joint venture with Chrysler Diamond Star Motors that spawned the Eclipse/Talon/Laser/GVR4 was nothing short of a failure. Turbocharged AWD cars from the factory? what kind of a joke is that? You would think Subaru would have learned from Mitsubishis mistakes. 2.0 turbo AWD cars are not realy useful for anything. Everyone knows Diamond Star Motors designed the T/E/L for girls anyway. Im glad Mitsu smartened up. Dump the laser and the Talon and make the 3g Eclipse the way it should have been in the 1st place... FWD with a torquey V6. You should see the E-brake burnouts those things can do! Awesome. I also hear that the ride nicer now much like a Galant. Soft and forgiving. Much better. Talk about a marvel of moder design and engineering. Those bubbly body lines borrowed from the pontiac Grand Am sweet. And who can forget the Plastic F-1 style gas cap. Now THATS stylish. Hopefully they finally added more cupholders too. Lets move on to the Mirage/Lancer. The mirage was available here in the states for many years. It was once available turbocharged but Mitsu was smart enough then to discontinue the turbo mirage and go to N/A engines with around 100 hp. The Mirage progressed so greatly that it was widely used in rental fleets. Before I go on to the new US mirage replacement lets talk about The Japan model lancer. In EVO trim It was the same as a US Mirage except it was 280 HP AWD Turbo. It has become a Technological marvel in its current form the EVO VII. It has been said that it is the best handling prduction car ever. Now back to the States. Mitsu has decided to bring the Lancer nameplate to the US. But Would they bring the EVO VII trim model? No way... Mitsu is too smart for that. The brought us a 120 HP display of basic Transportation... but... the DO have the OZ Rally package! A basic US Lancer with some OZ wheels some SWEET ground effects and a big ass downforce creating rear spoiler. Any improvements to the engine or suspension? Nope. Way to go Mitsu! Another Work of art!

So what Im trying to say here is that my doctors appointment has been rescheduled and I have nothing better to do than sit here and push keys till 3:00...

Hmmm... I sense tension...

I dunno why the switch to a v-6 is looked at as so bad... I had the Galant GTZ which shared the same v-6 as the GT and from what I understand is the same block of the VR-4... so... Why doesnt someone just freaking get the Eclipse GT put the DOHC on the bish get compression down to 9.0 and run twin turbos in that bish... heh of course the AWD would help make better byte but on slicks youd be OK...
