so saturday night i painted my eclipse and i removed the tail lights prior to painting i pull in booth and mask and paint and bake it.... then i went to put it back together put in the headlights and turned them on worked fine put in tail lights and turned on the lights and no taillamps..... at this point it was 230am and i was tired so i went home and figured it was just a fuse so today i took them apart again and and even with no bulbs in it keeps blowing the fuse as soon as you turn on the lights even when i just use the parking lights... wierd thing is the dash lights dont work as well my next idea is replace the interior dimmer switch thinking it has a short anyone else have any ideas any help would be appreciated

 

fixed! it appears i had my a/f gauge wired to the interior light fuse but it would only blow the tail lamp fuse under the hood so it threw me off changed power source of a/f gauge and all is good
