The car is a 91 mitsu eclipse GS-T. After starting the vehicle and pressing on the gas the car will not idle correctly. The RPMs fluctuate between 800 and 1500. What is the problem? Is it possible that the ECU is going bad? Thanks is advance for any replies.

Throttle Position Sensor has gone bad BISS screw is leaking or you have an intake leak. If you have taken the water lines off the Throllte Body then that would do it too.
