IF IT IS A 420A,THE CLUTCH IS AN ASSEMBLY,AND IT BOLTS TO A FLEX PLATE LIKE A TORQUE CONVERTOR--look on the "other side" of the clutch--it will be 4 18mm bolts

420a or 4g63?

If its a 420a the clutch and flywheel are a single unit, they dont come apart

what are you talking about 91notch? they come apart.. you have to take the clutch off the flywheel first then take the flywheel off.. The 420a flywheel and clutch seperate. pull the trans then look behind the flywheel. spin the flywheel till its at a place you can loosen the bolts out (on the exhaust side i guess you could say) loosen like the 5bolts I think it is and the clutch comes off the flywheel. then there is like 8 bolts attahing the flywheel onto the engine. Ive done 2 420swaps its really fucking easy.. And yea like gsx/sc said they are 18mm bolts. I know this because I didnt have a 18mm wrench and had to buy one for like $12 or something crazy like that at autozone. You will need a wrench a socket wrench wont work at all i dont think. you need to lock up the flywheel so it doesnt move. have another person when you get it in place take a flathead screwdrive and wedge it inbetween a tooth and a like 10mm bolt youll see looking down on the flywheel i believe and use those to things to lock it up.. only way it worked for me.. i can pop that shit off quik if you need help i would say give me some gas $ but ur in brandenton lol so fuck that.. its simple though
