hm.. I had a minitruck and alot of people relocated there batterys and every1 always said to only use like 0gauge.. you sure thats big enough? not really sure myself if it is thats why i ask.. edit- couple sites are sayin minimum 2awg here is a lil diagram i found.. just to let ya kno..

 

I ran mines with AMP wire and just put a inline bus fuse on it, nothing complicated and its been like that for over 6months. Ive never had any issues or nothing, no circuit breakers or nothing fancy, I just made sure I thoroughly electric taped the entire amp wire from begining to end just to make sure and taped my hot terminatal on the battery.

Ive only blown the fuse on it once awhile back when i had did a fuse box relocation and something touched. Fixed it, replaced fuse and was all good. You are suppose to get a sealed battery box but what the hell I got this from walmart for 6bucks and im not coughing yet.

Seriously im showing you how much thought I put into my battery relocation... Absolutely none. I dont even remember how I ran it thru the firewall. You shouldnt have any issues...

 

if i remember correctly, didn't you run the battery wire over the fender, and through the door jam?

there is a hole in the middle of the passengers legs on the firewall a zero gauge wire can fit through. I was thinking put the battery on the passenger side of the hatch then run the cable under all the interior panels on the par passenger side then through the firewall with a post right on the engine compt side of the firewall where the batter used to be.. why do they say to use a sealed box? o wait let me answer that for the person who will crack on me next its to avoid crankwalk right lol

 

No definitly not, but i did just go check and i actually drilled a hole thru the fire wall right underwere the battery tray used to be and I ran the wire under my carpet and thru the interior panels. I knew i got it in there somehow lol, there actually is a hole up there on the right corner of the firewall were the engine wiring harness goes thru but I didnt feel like tussling with that to slip it thru and thats probably why I just drilled a new hole lol.

I still think its something in your wiring thug. A 100amp fuse shouldn't be blowing that easily.
