Steering Resvoir return lines

Ok everyone knows on the 420A the return line goes across the crossmember then comes back....Can we just eliminate that or does it have to be like that

Guys im ready to rip that line off....I mean is it there just to get cooled???its a line that runs right behind the radiator and back towards the resvoir

thats the power steering cooler, it might shorten the lifespan of your power steering pump but it is probably safe to remove if you want to

Thanks...Well they run Right in behind the radiator and my car is so low already that it drags it and breaks the clamp and i have a great time driving home....
