If you enjoy a good daily dont touch that 420a, I purchased a 1g for fun at 1/3 cost. I am 100% sure you will spend more then 3k for what you currently want. Boost is an addiction and its better off for you on a spare car.

 

well im not wanting 2 cars...Im talking i want roughly 300whp give or take a little i have down graded a little....now its

Eagle rods .....je pistons....Crower Valves,springs and retainers...As far as i have ordered so far.

 

like i said my clutch was $642 out the door less install. A decent clutch WILL NOT be $250. Look at either ACT clutches or Competition Clutch <--thats what I have

and I would keep the stock flywheel...lighter flywheels are better suited for N/A cars

lightened flywheels are better for n/a cars because...they are lighter. stock flywheel will help build boost better. the only way I'd use a lightened flywheel is on anything more than a DD/weekend warrior...just my .02

 

I think fidanza's work great on turbo charged cars. less rotating mass is less rotating mass, no matter how you look at it.

 

thats true but what helps spool a turbo...? resistance...a lightened flywheel has less of it.

 

Yea i finally see the point....More resistance more turbo spool....

 

Yea because the motor having to work to pull a 3000lbs car is not enough resistance. it is more beneficial throughout the power band to run a lightened flywheel
