Dude, lets not even get into the argument about how many fast DSM's there are compared to fast Honda's. 90% of the Honda's I see at the track run 15's and slower. 90% of the DSM's run 14.99 and faster. Not saying ALL Honda's are slow, but coming across and fast one ( at least 12's ) is not a very common sight compared to all the other Honda's. And seeing anything run a 10 that is not trailered in has my respect

^ i agree, not tryin to start an argument. also agree that most hondas you see aren't "fast". but the guy i quoted keeps askin for time from mike, when in all actuallity, there arent many dsm's with fast time slips either. not alot of track cars around here. hopefully you understand the point i'm tryin to make, not really about time slips when a majority of the people on here never take their car to the track

Theres a lot of dsms with fast time slips,
maybe theyre not going around advertising it or maybe theres not as many in our area, but they're there. Most of the hardcore dsm stuff seems to flourish up north/ mid west
because when its dsm shoot out time all the 11,10,9 sec and faster cars pop out and half of them are not trailered in. In fact, some of them driven hundreds of miles to the event.

Honestly, ive never cared much for hondas,
but id give more props for a Honda running 10s than a dsm.
Its obvious dsm has more going for it in terms of which car has a easier time getting that fast timeslip imo. I tihnk when car disputes happen its just due to bias'ness or lack of information from people not taking the time to learn other cars outside of their own, any car can be made fast but the one with more ease of doing it is what one would consider the "better" car.

i dont think it necessarilly makes it a "better" car, just easier and sometimes cheaper

No im not saying it makes it a better car,
Im saying why someone who is biased would consider "their" car better, even when you can make another car just as fast.

If you were at all curious, just a quick search on dsmtuners
brought me to a list of times dsms run if you wanted an idea of how these cars perform on the track. I know you probably dont care but im at least just backing up my end of the convo.

You'll go thru the first 11 pages before you even start getting to the ones running 13s.
These are just random people in all different areas.
