Exclamation Simple Options

I have a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS a/t
I am trying to do a 5 speed conversion and rebuild a 420a but....Im lacking some sites and seeing wrecked cars on where to find these products...

Also i heard along the lines of that i could fit a evo 3 motor straight in.....Doesn't sound right to me...

I have heard of the HRC Turbo system...But does it have to be Hahn?

Just if anyone can point out this swap already or tell me where to find these parts or if you have some....I am Located in NC and will pay any shipping costs...Or local pickup if need be..
thanks

get familiar with your engine. read up on turbos. 2GNT.com - home has info. ill tell you what you will probably want to do and why.
-peice together a turbo kit yourself, it will be cheaper
-get your turbo of choice, (i would get a 50 trim or something small) get a turbo manifold with a 38mm tial flange, or no flange if you get an internally gate turbo. get a tial 38mm wastegate if you get a turbo without an internal gate. find a welder and have a downpipe made and the rest of the exhaust.
-get an intercooler (turbo xs will be cheap and get the job done), get a piping kit that comes with good silicone couplers (4 ply) and t bolt clamps. (usually can be had for a little over 100 bucks on ebay.) make sure you flare the ends of the pipes if they arent already or you cut the piping.
-get a blow off valve with flange and have the flange welded on your piping.
get a SAFC and run a few pounds of boost. im not sure what the injectors are good for, but i think you would need a built engine before you max out your injectors. you could get some 550s to be safe though.

so as far as i need to know....
What are the prices towards rebuilding...
I have heard for like forged internals its 500
And for stock its 400
What boost can i put on a rebuilt motor with stock internals with a .20 or .30 overbore?
Is it worth the extra money to get forged internals...
Im really needing to get this done quick my Ford truck is KILLING ME IN GAS HERE....a little over 4$ a gallon on 93

stock internals are good for maybe 250-260whp with an AWESOME tune. There have been freak motors that have held more than that tho. Forge it and don't worry about it.
