wrecked my eclipse :(
my 2000 eclipse GS.
i never thought i would actually be upset. but i'm quite depressed at the results of being sandwiched.
theres some chance that the insurance company will fix it. and part of me hopes for it and part of me doesn't.
its fucked up cause i had just finished getting almost $1000 in repairs done to it. entirely new brake system, starter, battery, EGR valve, AC, new deck.
all i had left to do was get an EGR solenoid, an allignment, a bumper, and some paint. and it was like. perfect.
and i'd just cleaned the entire car.
what are the chances that they'll fix it?

Ouch! That sucks. I have no expertise in this but i'd say there's atleast a 50/50 chance they'll fix it instead of totaling it.

i figure they'll claim it totaled because it's got over 100,000 miles on it and it has previous frame damage from where it was t-boned before i got it. it seems kinda over the top for the insurance company to actually fix it.
