ok i got a 2002 lancer oz rally 5spd about 3 months ago i started hearing a sound like somthing was hiting in side of the tran

but the thing i dont get it stops when i push the clutch in and when im rolling with clutch in and the the sound starts back up im thinking its the TOB please help any info will help me out

 

When I had my 05 lancer I had that same problem. Fortunately for me mine was still covered under warrantee so Mitsu fixed it. But from what I understand that sound is the TOB and it is very common with the lancers. But I would bring it in just in case something is seriously wrong.

 

+1 on the throw out bearing being the issue
