Default Walky walk walk...

So other than "swap a six bolt in it" what are the options when it comes to .079" worth of crank end play? Can thrust surfaces be turned at all?

Mmmm Mmmm good, n hot...

Damn Johnny, sorry to hear about your luck man. How many miles are on the motor? I think grinding them down won't really do much good. It may prolong the motor a little longer, but you would definently be better off putting a 6 bolt in.

I'm curious to see if anybody's had any good luck with the aftermarket crankshafts. If I'm not mistaken, Eagle (not the "now defunct" automobile brand , but the engine parts company), makes a crankshaft for our car.

Reverse-tuner swap; Swap in a 420a
But seriously, I think it's time for a new block/crank.
My old Hyundai (after I adapted a 2gT set up) did the exact same thing. I ground mine down, and it only gave me another ~10k on the motor.
