Thumbs down Problem with my 2g

Ok here it is, after I got my car from Brotherz I am having some problems with my car (98 gst 60k miles, head was replaced) and honestly I rather not take my car back there seeing how it was there for 6 months for a minor job before.

Anyways, one of the problems started yesterday where I was just driving in low RPM in second gear and the car started sputtering and jerking violently almost like if there was someone that didn't know how to drive a manual transmission car. When I stopped and turned the car off I checked vaccum lines and didn't see anything loose or any couplers that have come off any pipes. I started the car back up and it did good for about 5 minutes but again the same problem started happening to where I couldn't even get it home a minute away because no matter how much gas you get it, it didn't seem like it was being injected to the motor. Sorry about the lingo, cars really are not my thing.

Problem 2:
This was happening right when I got my car back from Brotherz, and let me say this may have happend from when someone broke into the car and yanked out the S-AFC, but im not sure. The A/C blows somewhat cold, but not nearly as cold as it should. It is almost like it goes in cycles of being close to cold and not cold at all, no matter what position the air lever is on (recirc or pulled from outside). I checked the little arm underneath the dash that moves when you pick hot or cold and that is working fine.

Thanks in advance guys, I really need my car fixed of these 2 problems so I can sell it. My son is already hitting the passenger seat from his car seat- so I'm desperate to get this fixed and sell it. Thanks again.

is your car throwing any codes? I had a bad mas sensor go bad and my car had the same jerking motions. I reset the ecu and my ran fine for a day or two. I have an extra mas you can try out if this you problem.

Your car was here for six months or so because you thought your "boys" (you know who they are and are no longer here) would take care of you and you never spoke to the two of them like you thought you could us

It's most likely a minor boost leak. We're more than happy to boost leak test it if you can get time to get it back here

Again, we called Dave and he said when he took the car in the a/c wasn't working

well just to eliminate what it might be I would check and see if the wiring is all connected near the ecu where the S-afc was spliced in. I know when installing an afc you have to cut one of the wires to the ecu. so did you connect that wire considering there isn't a S-afc in there anymore?

this question is referring to problem #1 considering air conditioning is non-existent in my dictionary of car luxuries just another 10-15lbs in my books

When installing a afc you cut the wire that sends airflow numbers to the ecu.
Thats how a afc works it manipulates the airflow number going to the ecu.
Make sure that wire is soldered back together.

Alpha- how would a boost leak keep the car fine for 5 minutes then start donig that again, doesnt make sense. And yes my a/c was working fine, I wouldn't drive my son around in the car without AC it is florida not new york or alaska. You are showing everyone why I will not take the car back to Brotherz racing, enough said Brotherz ftl!
Thanks Tom/lbjamin I will check that out, makes sense because like I said my cars a/c stopped working after the safc got stolen out of it.
boosteddsm- I will consider taking it there if I can't fix it myself, I really want to try and do this without spending alot more money considering I just got raped by Brotherz for breaking more shit then they fixed.
