OKay, I am a real neub at this mirage. Its a 97 4G93 SOHC (which I am assuming is a 1. engine coded mirage with an automatic Tranny. I need to know if there are any tips for changing the timing belt on one of these. I have read around and found that getting these in perfect timing is essential and that somtimes the timing marks are hard to see on the pully and cam.

Also I need to change the tranny fluid on this. I bought official Mitsu fluid but when I got home I realized that the tranny also had a filter on it??? Is that something I can get at autozone or something? And were do I fill the tranny from? From the same place I unscrew the tranny filter from?

Also, is this the kind of water pump and timing belt that I would need. Its seems that they are different before 1997.:
