if your other intake had a leak anywhere, and now your new one doesnt leak, it will run rich.

the anwser is no , u can only vent with aem ems or a maft setup... but of course alot of people vent without out those things , some cars run/idle good some dont. my car is venting and it idle and runs perfect might be cuz i am runing a tial bov.

if you were missing a clamp or something, or it was leaky at all, it will run lean, then when you fix it, it will be rich. the afc wont help against the bov venting, but i dunno if the afc has a dec. air value you can change

it does. but in wont make up for the air lost due to the design of the mas. the dec/air feture is for a diff type of air airflow meter.

But like JR said, some cars run ok and others don't.
