well for one i hope you did cut the bump stops and second if you slam the shit out of it you are not going to get a great ride i take it you used the stock shocks as well. if you get some aftermarket ones the ride might improve some but not much.

The problem is DSMs have very little suspension travel. You slam the car on its nutz or even lower it 1 you about cut the suspension travel in half. Hence bouncing off the bump stops. I suggest getting new mounts for increased susp. travel. http://www.ground-control.com/gcwhnew.htm at the bottom of the page. Moves the upper mount up an inch or so.
