Default wideband o2 install

do you still need the old o2 sensor when you install a wideband? should you hook it up or leave it unplugged. Would it mess something up? if you plug it in?

1g or 2g? My 1g wasn't that picky about it being there or not being there. I ran both though. I used this fitting, but there are cheaper alternatives:

Forced Performance: FP SS O2 Weld Fitting

If you have a PLX wideband you can eliminate your stock o2 (upstream for a 2g). If you don't have a PLX you will have to leave you stock o2 in place. Make sure to place it before you cat, if you have one.
