Ok so heres whats going on.....when my car is in gear and running its vibrates alot. When accelerating from a stop it vibrates pretty harsh then smooths out. It dont do it when in park or neutral. I cant figure it out for the life of me. ANY IDEAS?? I drive a 1998 Eclipse GS auto 2.0 dohc.

 

motor mounts? could be a bubble in your tires...

 

doesnt to it while in motion. only when im sitting still in gear. motor mounts are brand new.

 

Well your stories dont match up here. In the first post you say it does vibrate when moving but now you say its only sitting still in gear. So what is it????? What type of NEW motor mounts are they? Aftermarket poly style or OEM style replacements?

 

when i said "running" i meant idle and not in motion. the mounts are oem from mitsubishi.

crankwalk?!?! on a crysler motor? i think your thinkin of a 4g63 7 bolt motor. ive got a 420a. never heard of a 420a getting crank walk but i checked the timeing belt and its not moving at all. no up or down movement.
